Arnica Montana tablets can be taken for three days before your appointment to minimize potential bruising. Topical Arnica can also be applied. To further reduce the risk of bruising, limit the consumption of alcohol and avoid blood-thinning medications such as fish oil, aspirin, and ibuprofen. If you are on prescribed medication, please consult your prescribing provider before discontinuing use.
Bruising is a potential side effect of injections and may occur. To minimize the risk of bruising and optimize results, avoid extreme heat or cold, strenuous exercise, and NSAIDs (Advil, Ibuprofen, Aspirin). Massaging the treated area, wearing tight headgear, or lying face down within the first four hours of your neurotoxin treatment increases the risk of the product migrating to undesired areas causing undesirable results. It’s suggested to wait four hours after the treatment for these activities while the product settles.
