One week prior to your treatment, avoid waxing, laser hair removal, hair removal creams, and topical antibiotics. Steer clear of exfoliating products for facial treatments that may cause irritation, including dermaplaning and microdermabrasion. Cease the use of Retin-A, Retinols, and any products containing these ingredients. Additionally, within the 2-4 weeks leading up to your appointment, avoid chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, and microblading to prevent potential complications. Patients who have been on Accutane or undergone radiation therapy within the past year are advised against receiving the Prodigy Peel Pro System treatment. Certain conditions exclude individuals from undergoing the treatment, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, the presence of active cold sores, open wounds, sunburn, or excessively sensitive skin. Allergies to aspirin or salicylic acids, as well as vitiligo, also warrant precaution. Patients with autoimmune diseases should consult with their practitioner prior to scheduling the treatment to ensure suitability and safety.
