Kybella Body
Seeking a more sculpted physique without surgery and minimal downtime? Kybella offers a non-invasive solution to target unwanted fat in various body areas including bra fat or upper back, abdomen to reduce stubborn belly fat, flanks (love handles), and other areas of the body where localized fat deposits are present. This FDA-approved injectable treatment, containing synthetic deoxycholic acid, is specifically formulated to reduce localized fat pockets. Administered through a series of injections, Kybella destroys fat cells, leading to gradual yet noticeable results. Deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule, aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat, effectively reducing fullness in treated areas. Once fat cells are eliminated, they can no longer store or accumulate fat, eliminating the need for further treatment once desired results are achieved. Kybella treatments are typically scheduled two months apart for optimal outcomes, with the number of sessions tailored to individual fat distribution and treatment goals. Book a consultation with our skilled providers to discover how Kybella can help you achieve your body contouring goals!
To decrease the risk of bruising, avoid the use of NSAIDS (Aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen), Ginko Biloba, Garlic Supplements, Green Tea, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamins A and E, and essential fatty acids for up to 1 week before and after treatment. Taking Arnica tablets 2-3 days before treatment can also reduce the potential for bruising. Additionally, refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages 24 hours prior to your appointment. It’s also crucial to avoid using products that may irritate the skin for 2-3 days before and after treatment, such as tretinoin/retin-a, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and hydroquinone. Inform your provider of any history of cold sores, keloid scars, or adverse reactions to sutures. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to any of the treatment’s ingredients, abstain from using the aforementioned products. Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores, keloid scars, or a poor history with sutures. Make sure to consult your provider if you have any questions or concerns prior to treatment.
After your Kybella treatment, it’s common to experience bruising and tenderness in the treated area. Swelling is expected, with the most significant swelling typically occurring within the first 72 hours and lasting up to about 10 days. To optimize your results, it’s important to avoid taking ibuprofen or using continuous icing. Instead, for comfort, you may use Tylenol. If you notice increasing heat, redness, pain, or any signs of infection at the injection site, please contact us at (303) 900- 8751.
Please note that visible results may take up to 2 full months to appear. We recommend a follow-up appointment at this time to evaluate your progress and determine if additional treatments are desired. If further treatments are needed, they can be safely administered after the initial 2-month period.

Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, which is naturally found in our body. This acid helps destroy fat cells, leading to a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Because it is a substance our body naturally uses, Kybella is both effective and safe.
