Your Skin's Natural Glow, Amplified

About This Treatment

What Is PRP Facial?

PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. During this treatment, a small sample of blood is drawn from your arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. The result is a concentrated PRP serum rich in growth factors.

This serum is applied to the face through SkinPen microneedling, which creates tiny channels that allow growth factors to penetrate within the skin. These growth factors stimulate natural healing, boost collagen and elastin production, and accelerate tissue repair at the cellular level.

What Does PRP FacialTreat?

The growth factors found in your platelet-rich plasma work to create new collagen and improve skin tone and texture. Common concerns this effective treatment can help with include:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone or dull complexion
  • Age spots and cellular damage
  • Loss of elasticity or skin that has started to sag
  • Rough skin texture
  • Acne scarring

Ideal Candidates

Am I a Good Candidate?

A PRP facial works well for nearly all skin types. It is ideal for patients who want to improve their overall skin tone without the downtime of laser resurfacing. Because PRP uses your body's natural healing process, the risk of reactions is very low.

You may be a good candidate if you want to reduce fine lines, improve elasticity, or address dull skin. PRP is not recommended for patients with active infections, certain blood disorders, or those who are pregnant. During your free consultation, your provider will create a customized treatment plan based on your goals.

Your Experience

What to Expect

Blood Draw
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, similar to a routine blood test.

Centrifuge Processing
The sample is placed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma. This concentrates the platelets and growth factors that power skin regeneration and natural repair.

Topical Numbing
A topical numbing agent is applied to your face for comfort.

Microneedling with PRP
Using a microneedling device, your provider creates tiny channels in the skin. The PRP serum is then applied topically so it can penetrate and deliver growth factors where they are needed. Adding PRP to microneedling helps amplify the skin's natural ability to heal.

After Your Appointment
There is minimal downtime. You may notice redness for the first 24 hours post-treatment. Skin continues to improve as new collagen forms. Most patients see noticeable improvement within two to four weeks, with optimal treatment results after a series of sessions.

Care Instructions

Pre & Post Care

Before your appointment:
Make sure your skin is clean. Avoid makeup, lotions, or skincare products on the treatment area. Stop using retinoid products and exfoliating agents 3 to 5 days before. Avoid chemical peels, laser treatment, and microblading for 2 to 4 weeks before your visit. If you have a history of cold sores, ask about antiviral medication.

After your treatment:
Do not wash the treated area for 24 hours. Avoid exercise, saunas, and steam rooms. Use gentle cleansers, moisturizers, vitamin C, and SPF as part of your post-care skincare routine. Common Questions

PRP FacialFAQ

Yes. A PRP facial is a highly effective treatment for improving skin tone, reducing wrinkles, and restoring a radiant look. Because it uses your own platelet-rich plasma, results build over time as natural collagen production increases.

PRP can help improve marionette lines by stimulating new collagen in the dermal layers. While PRP alone may not fully correct deep lines, it is often part of a combination treatment. Your provider can recommend the best approach during a consultation.

Benefits include smoother skin texture, improved elasticity, a radiant complexion, and reduced fine lines. PRP stimulates your skin's natural collagen production. It is also a nonsurgical option with minimal downtime.

Most healthy adults are good candidates. It works on all skin types and is popular among patients who prefer a science-backed approach. Those with active infections or certain blood conditions should discuss options with a provider.

Blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma. A topical numbing cream is applied, then a microneedle device creates tiny channels in the skin. The PRP is applied to the face so growth factors can stimulate natural repair. The process takes about 60 to 90 minutes.

Yes. Because the serum comes from the patient's own blood, there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction. Side effects like redness or slight swelling are mild and resolve quickly.

Results can last several months. Most patients benefit from two to three sessions. Maintenance every six to twelve months helps keep your skin looking its best.

Most patients find it very comfortable. A topical numbing cream is applied before microneedling, which makes the treatment painless for most people. You may feel light tingling, but significant discomfort is rare.
